Pagbilao, Quezon | Puting Buhangin

Island hopping in Padre Burgos, Quezon will never be complete without visiting Puting Buhangin. Puting Buhangin is actually located at Pagbilao, Quezon an adjacent city to Padre Burgos and the first city you will passed after Lucena.
The best time to visit this island is end of May to avoid people Summer rush
From Dampalitan Island it would take 45 minutes to 1 hour boat ride to get to Puting Buhangin. Of all the three islands I have mentioned this island has the most cleanest water, finest and whitest sand.

Pagbilao, Quezon Power Plant
As I see the smoke stock of Pagbilao, Quezon Power I know we are nearer to our destination. Excited again to saw this island.
Crystal clear water
We finally arrived our boatman docked his boat to the left side wherein few people were camping. We immediately disembarked our boat and took some photos.

Having enough photoshoot and swimming we decided to check out the cave called "Kwebang Lampas". Walking towards the entrance of the cave you will passed pointed rocks. Water here was also deep so if you are not confident to swim better have a life jacket or stay beside a good swimmer.

They used to name this cave "Kwebang Lampas" maybe because one can accessed the back side of the cliff through this cave (just my wild guess). Since most of us are non good swimmers we decided to just dip in the water inside while others went at the back wherein you can do cliff diving.

We only spent a few minutes inside the cave as we still need to be back in Manila at night. After we fulfilled ourselves we hopped back onto the boat and get back to Pier.

This end our Padre Burgos - Pagbilao, Quezon Summer Trip!!! Hope you enjoyed yours.

General Notes to Consider:
1. How to get to Puting Buhangin Alternate Route: First ride a bus bounded to Lucena, then get off to Lucena Grand Terminal and take another bus going to Pagbilao (Pagbilao is just one town after Lucena), from Pagbilao Market ride a jeep going to Brgy. Polo. After reaching Brgy. Polo hire a tricycle and tell the driver to drop you at Lukang Beach or Puting Buhangin.
2. Puting Buhangin entrance fee = P50.00
